At Indigo Haven, we hold the yoga philosophy of oneness close to our hearts which is why we aim to provide a holistic, mind-body-spirit experience in each of our yoga classes. Many of our classes incorporate reiki, essential oils, sound healing, and the occasional oracle card spread. We are a body-positive studio and live by the notion that yoga is for everyBODY. Nina combines a variety of energetic healing modalities and practices tailored to each client's individual needs. These include Tsui/Tibetan reiki, flower essences, and Four Winds Advanced Shamanic Energy Medicine. Tsui/Tibetan reiki is a form of energy healing during which universal life force energy is channeled through the hands of the practitioner to the client. Reiki healing aids in stress relief, pain relief, relaxation, and promotes full-body healing. Flower essences are a form noninvasive herbal energy medicine that are created from the flower of a plant. The Four Winds Advanced Shamanic Energy Medicine modality includes energetic extractions, illuminations, soul retrievals, and chakra balancing. These practices allow the client to connect to their highest potential as well as explore and heal their auric field. This often includes the removal of stagnant energy and energetic cords that may be causing physical, emotional, and spiritual blockages. Flower essences embody high vibrational healing properties of the flowers used in each blend. Although flower essences are noninvasive, they are strong and capable of providing transformation and healing for a wide range of afflictions including those that are physical, mental, and emotional. Flower essences are taken orally (or can be put into tea, tinctures, or water) and do not interfere with any medications. Custom flower essences are $25 per bottle and can be purchased in-house during your session. *Note: Flower essences are not to be taken in place of other medications and you should always consult with your doctor regarding stopping, starting, or changing your medications.
Integrative spiritual coaching and co-channeling are techniques used to help clients manage and work through various patterns and road blocks in their daily lives. In these modalities, Nina assists her clients in tapping into their intrinsic power, knowledge, and strength through meditation, constructive and empathic communication, and professional spiritual guidance. During co-channeling sessions, both the client and practitioner embark on a journey of self discovery for the client by conducting a joint meditation session where the practitioner combines transformational imagery work and channeling with the other side. It is important to note that spiritual coaching and co-channeling, just like other modalities, look different for each client depending on their needs and what their goals are. Nina also uses these types of modalities with those who are in need of spiritual guidance to help them gain confidence, protection, and clarity on their path and spiritual abilities. She uses these types of modalities with clients who are looking to process and move past old patterning to become empowered and live their most fulfilled and authentic lives.
The Shamanic Breathwork Ceremonial Process allows clients to release old wounds and dysfunctional patterns and transform them. Often times lost soul parts are regained in order for the client to remember their true essence. The SBW process works as a chain reaction of empowerment, bringing wholeness and healing back into the life of the client, the lives of those they love, and to the world at large. The Shamanic Breathwork process acts as a portal between the timeless wisdom of ancient traditions and the emerging new paradigm methods of healing and teaching by creating a bridge for body, mind, heart, soul and spirit to connect as one. The SBW ceremony begins by establishing safe and sacred space through various rituals and ceremonies such as smoke cleansing with sage, cedar, and sweet grass while invoking intentions and prayers for the highest good of the journeyer(s). The SBW process usually occurs while the journeyer is laying down on a mat with an eyemask and other journeying accessories. They are invited to call on their Shaman Within, and the energies that speak to them, such as spirit guides, power animals, ancestors, and higher powers. As the drumming begins, breathers are invited to utilize cyclical rhythmic breathing while chakra-attuned music helps guide them on their journey. The shamanic breathwork pattern results in the neurochemical release of N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) which creates a natural altered dreamlike state. In this state, clients are able to safely navigate through and release unprocessed trauma, old programming, and dysfunctional patterning. The Shamanic Breathwork ceremony is a highly individualized process and each journey will always differ from the last.
