Traditional Norse Seiðr Ritual with Seiðkona Emily Lilly

A traditional Seiðr (pronounced say-ther) is a magical tradition hailing from Northern Europe centered around trance and spirit work. During this ritual, the völva (a female seeress) will enter a trance state empowered by plant allies and vardlokkur (spirit songs) in order to engage in spirit contact. Participants will each be able to approach the völva to ask questions of the spirits or to see what messages come through. It is recommended to come with questions prepared in advance. Participation is not required, simply observing is welcomed! Please bring a journal and pen, sacred talismans to charge at the altar, as well as any objects for Emily to channel into.
